since i'll be working at 5pm today, i'll just update for a whileeeee. i didn't update cause i've been working everytime and now, it's work work work and nothing else. i guess it's just to pay back for the precious time lost last year due to the job-hunting. (when they said they'll call, they didn't. !!!!!!!!!)

anyways, there's a few bad incidents that took place recently, but nevermind, i'm just gonna leave them unspoken and unsaid. on a much happier note, i finally fulfilled my promise to "teach" the everdearest roller-blading. notice the inverted commas there. nyahaahah! aku punye deng! kate nak ajar die. end up, aku sendiri yang jatuh.

so, two days back, on saturday, we headed to ECP for the main purpose - to roller-blade. we planned to meet at 11am initially, but due to some "unforeseen circumstances" (hahaha), we only managed to leave our own home at 3 plus, going to 4pm. we took the train to Toa Payoh before boarding the bus there. it was quite a distance to walk from where we alighted. but nevermind, with boyfriend around, it's never boring. :)

so, when we reached, the everdearest started to feel a pinch of regret for going there. haha. so, we rented for 1 hour. even before starting to roller-blade, i fell down while going down the slope. haha. i didn't wear any safety gear like knee pads etc. dah "professional" sangat lah konon. but when i fell, i landed on the bum, so i didn't feel any pain or what cause i've had cusions to save me. heh.

i was a bit unstable at first, but then i got the hang of it. it seems to me like as if boyfriend had roller-blade before. because, usually for first timers, i expected them to fall, but amazingly, he didn't! haha. maybe due to his skating background or what, i don't know. anyways, we roller-blade at this one place where the ground is super smooth and it makes roller blading 100 times easier. then, we roller-blade out to the main ground/pathway, you know the one where all the others bikers, joggers, roller-bladers do their stuffs as well. it was so scary lar! my legs were shaky already. grrr. then, when it was time to return the thing, i had trouble going up the slope. wahlao, i had trouble for both going down and up the slope, till up to the point where two guys from the shop helped me up. nyahahaha. that is call, going the extra miles for service.

after that, we swam for a short time only, since it's already damn dark. and shit, the water was shitty cold! as for those who know me really well, they will know that whenever i feel really cold or what, my lips and fingernails will turn purple. and yes, that's what happened to me. it looked like as if i had applied layers and layers of purple lipstick on my lips. but heck it, we swam and swam and at the same time, keeping an eye on our bags. for the first time ever, boyfriend was shivering. haha. if he was already shivering, what about me? gagaga. i shivered like really really shivering. the scene was like one from 'Titanic', where we were outcasted out in the ocean, but ours was not exactly in the ocean. heh.

after we got out of the water, it just got worse! the wind was blowing and out teeth were chattering non-stop. it was hard to talk as well. haha. we snapped some pictures before changing into dry clothes. and by the way, i really appreciate it when you lend me your slippers and had to go bare-footed just for me so that my feet didn't get hurt. :-*

then, we had our dinner at Mcd. and the everdearest was "kissed" by the mayonnaise on the cheek. hahaha. you know, i know. :D then, we took bus to Eunos MRT and then, we trained all the way back to Sembawang. initially, we thought of taking the cab, but then, it'll be really a waste of money. in a nutshell, it was a splendid day. :)

yesterday, after knocking off from work, the everdearest waited for me and we went to catch a movie, Jumper. the storyline was great and what's more, the actor was hot as well. hehe. it just makes the show worth it. haha, kidding. :) then, we went to Clarke Quay to get a breather. luckily, there weren't many minahs and matreps around. :) i had a great time yesterday too!

i'll post the pictures maybe tomorrow or what since i've yet to bathe, and i've got to get ready for work now. =/
