well, what do i say? having to work 3 days straight, 12 hours a day are really hard and tiresome. adding to that, i'll have to stand for 4hours straight before i get to go for my lunch/dinner. after that, it'll be back to standing again. =/ i'll have to find opportunities to sit down.

first day (friday), have to reached suntec convention centre by 9am and then they briefed us on what to do. so, met nizam and faiz on sembawang mrt platform before making our way there. when we reached there, saw Afena and her cousin. the atmosphere were sort of quiet, with everybody just sticking to friends that they know. once inside, the guys and the ladies were separated. the guys will have to carry in stock and everything, making sure that things/items are already stocked up. they will have to push the trolley, full of baskets for the customers to use. some were in-charge of queue-control. nizam was one of them. well, the ladies have to be the packers. you know the one that helps the cashier to pack the things once the items have been scanned? well, yes. that's my job, along with the rest of the ladies. heh.

first day, there were not that many customers. im the packer for counter 19. and i'll be in that counter for the rest of my working days. before lunch time, there were no customers that came to my counter since my counter was somewhere near the corner and the customers were lazy to go all the way from one corner to pay for the items, before leaving for another corner, for the EXIT. yearps. i'll have to stick with my cashier wherever she goes. so, we (me and the cashier) went to lunch together with Afena (counter 18) and her cashier. after lunch, the queue was sort of okay. dinner time came, and off we went to eat at Food Republic. (the food there was expensive! one plate of Nasi Padang cost me $6.50!) =/

during work, Afena and the cashier at counter 20 were verbally fighting. haha. just joking around. and i tell you, they were corrupted. haha. im the victim since im in the middle of both of them. well, it's all in the name of fun. ;-)

at 10pm, the packers were allowed to go home while the cashiers have to count their money. went home with new friend, Faridah. =) reached sembawang at nearly 12am. walked home and i was ready in bed at 12.30am.

saturday, i woke up feeling groggy due to lack of sleep. i have to reached there by 9.30am. went to suntec alone. nizam went with his new friend/s. well, it's alright for me since i already knew the way around. =) reached at 9.15am. thought that i was late but, yes, im early. heh. they took attendance and off we went to our respective counters. saturday's cashier was different. it was no longer a she, it was a he. at first, i didnt talk at all as he looked fierce. haha. but things turned out great. and by the way, im sorry that your hamster died. =/

went to lunch with him and his friend, a she. i don't know how to spell their names. =/ after lunch, mak kau, the queue was extremely long! and customers came to the counter with 2-3 baskets full of items! most of them went over $100. it's a sale, and there were almost 20% discount for every item, what do you expect? so, i'll have to pack those stuffs. practically my hands were working all the time but my legs/feet suffered too. have to stand at one spot all the way. and by the way, the cashier at counter 1 look almost similar to Elfiana. i swear. my hands were busy working all the time, and when dinner time came, my cashier and i managed to get away from the job. heh. we didnt eat, just roamed around suntec for a place to sit.

once we found the place, i have never felt so good to sit down before. they bought water while i wait for them, before making our way back. and by the way, 1 hour was given for both lunch and dinner. when we came back, the queue was sort of shorter. quite manageable. when it was nearly time for POPULAR to close for the day, customers came rushing in with their things. haha. i stayed back to help my cashier count the money. went home with them and my friends and im off to bed at 12.30am.

and by the way, taufik batisah came and sing at around 4 or 5. i can't remember. then, there was the chinese singer. im not sure who. heh. =/

yesterday, i woke up feeling very sleepy. in the train, i thought of sleeping while standing but im afraid that i'll snore. heh. (i'll snore when im feeling really tired, that's why) there were not many people as saturday's. it was unexpected. went lunch my cashier at Food Republic. chatted and then went back to the convention centre. but before that, we made a bet. you see, there's this one guy. he looked totally like a eurasian. and yeah, he's hot. haha. even my cashier said that he was handsome. so, we made a bet. i told him that he is chinese. but my cashier thinks otherwise. he thought that he was a malay. so, i dared him to speak to him in chinese. to his surprise, he replied in chinsese. haha. you owe me a box of sweets! but not the mint ones aite!

when there's no customers, we chatted and he suddenly came to the topic about gays, about the time when he saw a gay couple. haha. it was really hilarious to hear his story, i tell you. well, he had alot of stories. heh.

finally, after 3 days of working, i get an OFF day. and the schedule had been changed slightly. i'll be working from 10am to 10pm tomorrow, instead of 12pm to 10pm. so, yearps. that's about it. and oh yah, i cut my finger while packing due to the sharp edges of the books. =/
